FIT Matt: The HOKA Bondi 8 fits me true to size in my normal men's size 10. The fit throughout the length of the shoe is on the snug side, especially in the forefoot. Initially, my toes felt slightly smashed, but over a few miles the upper broke in to provide more of a snug fit.
Overall. Reviewed at HOKA ONE ONE. I've had the Bondi 8 for about a week and walked 42 miles so far. The one problem I experienced was the semi-gusseted tongue. I have a high arch and I underpronate. The tongue was pulling to one side which was causing pain in the instep area of my arch. I decided to cut the elastic to eliminate the "gusset".

The Bondi 4 made me want to try all the other Hoka One One shoes. I put lots of miles on the Clifton, and I might prefer the Bondi. I tried to compare the two, however, my Clifton have too many miles on them to make it a fair contest. I have done a serious 180º on the Hoka brand. I have now moved onto another shoe to review.
Last week I purchased the Bondi 8, as the design clued me in to MAYBE somebody had figured the issues out and WOW what a difference! The Bond 8, has a more splaid sole offering a 'check' against the pronation and ankle flipping, and it has a better wrap-around of material at ankle AND better toe box. Wider toe box.
