I believe if you have the ford maintenance package, they won't change the oil unless 7.5k miles have passed and something like 10k is expected. But the engine holds 6qts of oil, so it kinda makes sense.

FORZDA 2. I recommend the newest GF-6B oils rated "SP" by the API and in the 5w30 or 0w30 viscosity if available. The 0w40 is good as well IF you can find it in the API "SP" rating. The SP oils are formulated to remove the #1 LSPI contributor, Calcium used as a detergent, and are not made in all the previous grades.
