Disabling the start stop system. So while researching why my remote start won’t work I found a simple solution that appears to work to disable the start/stop system. On the negative terminal of the battery there is a small plug connector. That is for the start stop system and if you unplug it it is disabled with no dash lights.

I hate the auto stop/start. It caused me to pucker up once when I went to pull out from a STOP sign and the engine stumbled a bit as I pulled out in front of an 18 wheeler. Note: It is a STOP-START feature. I have the engine running and it stops it. I believe you can disable it by putting the vehicle in TOW/HAUL mode with the Silverado.

Tazer DT requires the same bypass if I recall correctly. You cannot change any settings with MDS or Auto Start/Stop with AlfaOBD. The only way to "disable" MDS without aftermarket means is to select "8" on the gear limit (buttons in the lower right of the steering wheel) or select Tow/Haul.
I've driven multiple vehicles with auto-stop/start technology and the Palisade has one of the better systems. It's always been back on before my foot had time to move from the brake pedal to the gas pedal. And it can be sort-of be controlled by how hard you push the brake pedal (lighter press won't trigger it).

Open the hood and look down. Immediately to the right of the hood latch, there's an electrical connector. Unplug it. Someone else posted about this in a thread here stating that the SS system is disabled if the hood is unlatched. So, unplugging that connector makes the SS think the hood is always open and it won't activate.
